Sugar Mill Panel Solution

Sugar Mill is a place where the sugarcane is pressed to extract juice and the Juice will be boiled down to make crystals of sugar.

Mill application: Sugar cane Juice extraction by milling is the process of squeezing the juice from the cane under a set of mills using high pressure between heavy iron rollers. Those mills can have from 3 up to 6 roller mills; every set of mills is called a tandem mill or mill train.

Yaskawa supplied Line-up VFD panels with A1000 HHP High-Performance Vector Control Modular Low voltage AC drives with panel engineering solution for 750KW Mill application. The Customer Industry is a global agribusiness and bio-energy corporation The Company is one of the largest sugar manufacturer refiner and ethanol producers in India and the world. It has a refining capacity of 4000 tonnes/day and a distillery capacity of 600 kilolitres/day. It has a 21% market share in India's fuel ethanol market, It also accounts for 20% of India's international sugar contribution. The Company operates eleven integrated sugar mills globally (four in Brazil & seven in India) & two port-based refineries in India. Indian operations produce 242 MW with exportable of 135 MW.

  • Supplied Low voltage 690V A1000 HHP High-Performance Vector Control Modular AC drive Panel designed for 150% Continuous load current with 50kA short circuit current for 1 sec & Low harmonic solution for 750kW Mill application project.
  • Line-up panels designed with floor mounting, IP42 protection, RAL 7035 colour, 2mm frame CRCA sheet.
  • Panel enclosures designed with bottom cable entry & exit, with topside bus bar chamber and both front & rear access.

  • Offered Panel with A1000HHP 12 pulse VFD configuration to achieve total harmonic distortion lesser than 12% in load condition and reduce excessive energy losses & improve power factor with Low cost.
  • Incomer power supply breakers rated for 50kA short circuit with 630 amps current carrying capacity for Star and delta power connections designed for Low harmonic & 150% Continuous Full load current.
  • In Mill applications, a high starting torque required from zero speed so designed VFD incomer power supply breakers, and bus bars for 150% continuous motor full load current carrying capacity of 780A & 690 V by increasing production & high performance.
  • Designed panel with Aluminium bus bars to withstand 50kA short circuit current for 1 sec. rated for 150% of motor full load current carrying capacity
  • Panel designed considering the VFD, power components & bus bars ratings to withstand for 50-degree ambient temperature to reduce thermal breakdowns.
  • Offered modular drive A1000HHP for 750KW Mill application & designed panel with easy access for service, maintenance-free, and easy operation.
